Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Noninvasive Cardiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Located on First Avenue & 97th Street in Manhattan, the hospital serves over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits, and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. It maintains an academic affiliation with New York Medical College.

Opportunity Details

• Perform nuclear stress tests, EKG stress tests, echo, TEE's, EKGs, various kinds of Holter monitors
• Clinical: seeing patients as a “Direct Panel Attending” Monday‑Friday 9 AM to 1 PM
• Supervise and teach medical residents
• Schedule: Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM – call will be on average every second to third week, Monday through Sunday

Wages and Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $322,000* (board eligible); $332,000* (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $450,820** (board eligible) and $457,420** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors.

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
