Job summary

Banner Health's Cardiothoracic Surgical Step-Down unit at Banner Boswell Medical Center seeks an experienced RN for the Night shift (7pm–7:30am). The role focuses on caring for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical patients (CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, etc.) with 4:1 patient ratios and a supportive, team-oriented environment.

We offer an $15,000 sign-on bonus for FT Nights, self-scheduling, and an 18% night shift differential plus weekend differential when applicable.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care or surgical/telemetry settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement/Evaluate nursing care for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical patients.
• Communicate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe patient care and discharge planning.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise other licensed staff as needed.
• Document care in patient records and maintain compliance with nursing standards.
