Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by IDFPR.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed and hang IV piggybacks/fluids.
• Chart assessments and care plans after RN initial assessment.
• Communicate with physicians/APPs to receive orders and coordinate care.
• Perform dressing changes, trach care, NG tube care and feedings.
• Care for ostomy and reinforce discharge instructions.
