Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an LPN to support RN teams across high-acuity care settings. The role includes administering oral meds, IV piggyback infusions, dressing changes, trach care, NG tube care, ostomy care, and contributing to care plans after the RN's initial assessment.

The successful candidate will hold an LPN license, BLS, and a college diploma in nursing, with strong communication and teamwork to coordinate patient care with physicians and APPs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required/active.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• College diploma: Licensed Practical Nurse (Required).

Responsibilities

• Passes all medications and IV piggybacks/fluids per protocol.
• Charts assessments and care plans after RN initial assessment.
• Coordinate with physicians/APPs to receive orders and coordinate care.
• Perform dressing changes, trach care, NG tube care, ostomy care.
• Reinforce education and discharge instructions.
