Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an LPN to support high-acuity patients in a fast-paced setting. You will administer medications, manage IV piggybacks, and assist with assessments after the RN completes the initial evaluation.

You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to coordinate care, perform dressing and trach care, NG tube management, ostomy care, and reinforce discharge instructions to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certified by IDFPR.
• BLS within 30 days per AHA.
• College diploma required as LPN.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and IV piggybacks.
• Charts assessments and updates care plans after RN initiation.
• Collaborates with physicians/APPs to receive orders and coordinate care.
• Performs dressing changes, trach care, NG tube care, ostomy care.
• Reinforces discharge instructions to patients and families.
