Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
• Current NBSTSA/ABSA First Assist certification to be obtained within one year of hire.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• Three years of operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exposure, hemostasis, closure and intraoperative tasks.
• Prepare patients and maintain aseptic technique for procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons and specialty teams to ensure patient safety.
• Order, manage, and maintain supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Position patients and use proper body mechanics to optimize exposure and safety.
