The role involves delivering professional nursing care in a 46-bed cardiac/vascular setting with a focus on patient-centered care during complex interventions.

This full-time night-shift position runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, requires working 48 of 52 weekends per year, and offers a $10 per hour weekend stipend in addition to base pay, plus

Qualifications

Associates in Nursing Required
Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Required with 90 days
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within 6 months

Responsibilities

The RN provides professional nursing care under the ANA scope of practice and in accordance with Corewell Health policies and procedures.
The RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and discharges patient care, and collaborates with patient/family goals in planning the care plan.
The RN partners with patient/family input and develops teaching strategies, documenting education in the health record.
