Summa Health is seeking a part-time Unit Secretary for the 4W Cardiac Post Intervention Progressive Care Unit. The role supports the patient care team, coordinates clerical tasks, and helps maintain patient records while serving as a communication link with nursing staff.

Responsibilities include multi-functional support under RN direction, plus environment, dietary, and supply-related tasks. The role requires teamwork, strong organization, and the ability to interact respectfully with patients

Qualifications

• High school coursework in English grammar, composition, and basic mathematics.
• Six months of either direct patient care or clerical office experience with computer access.
• Completion of Medical Terminology course with a score of 70% or greater.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, compile and maintain patient records and act as receptionist.
• Serve as communication link within the patient-care area and support the care team.
• Assist with environmental, dietary, transportation, supplies and light maintenance tasks.
