Job summary

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Unit. The role covers a 7pm–7am night shift on a 24-bed unit, with full-time hours and competitive benefits.

The RN will deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care, coordinate planning and assessment, and support safe transitions to home or other providers. IL RN license and CPR are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with IL RN license.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with plan to complete BSN within four years.
• Current AHA CPR certification.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts to meet staffing needs.
• May be required to take call and handle high-acuity patients.

• Lead efforts to maintain a safe, compassionate patient environment.
