Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac ICU. This full-time 36-hour/week role works 7pm–7am and supports an 18-bed unit with intensivists on site 24/7.

ACLs required; BLS and RN license with state privileges; 1 year clinical nursing experience preferred. The position offers medical/dental/vision, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state where providing services.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives to improve care.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and coordinate with care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and quality outcomes.
• Administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
