Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Omaha is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care on the night shift (6:45pm–7:15am). Schedule options include 24 or 36 hours per week, with responsibilities spanning hygiene support, safety, and comfort, while maintaining patient rooms and documentation.

Preferred candidates hold a high school diploma or GED and complete CNA training (75-hour) or have equivalent experience. BLS certification is preferred within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of 75-hour Nurse Assistant course or 6 months Nurse Assistant experience required.
• Current BLS certification preferred within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Maintain cleanliness and prepare treatment spaces.
• Document data clearly in Cerner and/or worksheets.
• Assist with transportation and patient amenities.
• Support front receptionist duties as needed.
