Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Methodist Fremont Health Hospital. The 36-hour weekly shift runs 6:45pm to 7:15am, with rotating weekends, supporting patient hygiene, comfort, and daily living activities while ensuring safety.

You will document care, assist with nursing rounds, and contribute to a clean, organized patient environment. Training, incentives, and growth opportunities are offered within a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of 75-hour state approved Nurse Assistant course required.
• Required within 3 months: Basic Life Support (BLS); strong preference for current BLS at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and assists with activities of daily living (ADL).
• Maintains a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
• Documents data and patient responses in Cerner or worksheets.
• Assists with front desk tasks and communications as needed.
• Performs housekeeping duties to maintain hospital hygiene and safety.
