Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. The role includes hygiene assistance, comfort measures, transportation support, and vitals monitoring as part of the patient care team.

Responsibilities span documenting in Cerner, assisting with ADLs, preparing rooms, and maintaining a safe environment. Schedule is 24 or 36 hours per week with day shifts, and various incentives may be available from recruiters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of the 75-hour state approved Nurse Assistant course or 6 months Nurse Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and comfort per age-appropriate plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Record data accurately in Cerner and/or worksheets.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment.
• Cover front reception as needed.
