Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL. This full-time role covers nights, with a 7:00am–7:00pm window noted in the overview and a 2–6 dollar day/night differential described.

You will monitor cardiac patients, administer meds, and provide education and care coordination for patients recovering from cardiac procedures and events. The position requires an active RN license, BLS at hire, ACLS preferred, and at least one year in

Qualifications

• Current valid State RN license.
• BLS certification required on hire.
• ACLS certification preferred on hire.
• Minimum of one year experience as an RN in acute care.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' cardiac status, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed medications, including IV cardiac meds.
• Perform cardiac assessments and review histories.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and self-care.
• Respond promptly to cardiac emergencies with CPR and life-saving actions.
