Job summary

Responsibilities include monitoring alarms, escalating significant changes to a Registered Nurse, operating the telemetry system, documenting observations, and supporting safe, compassionate patient care. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Education program for Telemetry Monitoring Technician or 1 year of related experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: None.

Responsibilities

• Provides precise continual surveillance and analysis of cardiac rhythms on electrocardiographic central monitoring station.
• Escalates significant or life-threatening changes immediately to a Registered Nurse.
• Operates and troubleshoots the telemetry monitoring system and accounts for all monitors per shift.
• Admits, transfers, discharges patients and enters data in the telemetry system.
• Delivers high-quality service and supports safe, compassionate patient experiences.
