• Education: Telemetry Monitoring Technician program or 1 year related experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: None.
• Experience/Skills: Knowledge of ECG rhythms and monitoring systems; trend and alarm review.

Responsibilities

• Provides continuous surveillance and analysis of cardiac rhythms on central monitoring.
• Interprets ECG rhythms and escalates life-threatening changes to a Registered Nurse.
• Operates and troubleshoots telemetry monitoring system; accounts for all monitors.
• Admits, transfers, and discharges patients in the telemetry workflow.
• Ensures high level of service and patient experience in line with standards.
