Job summary

Boston Medical Center South is seeking a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Telemetry 3B to provide patient-centered care in a high-acuity Med/Surg setting. The role offers a 32-hour schedule with days and a mix of 8s and 12s, plus every-other-weekend rotation.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective care and contribute to discharge planning. The ideal candidate will have a Nursing Diploma/ASN/BSN, MA RN license with BLS, and will ideally have ACLS and Med/Surg

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma/ASN/BSN preferred; BSN within 4 years required.
• Current MA RN license + BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Prior acute Med/Surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Department, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
• Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
• Update and manage patient records
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC's nursing organization
• Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
