Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (MNA) for the Med/Surg- Cardiac Telemetry unit. The role requires a valid RN license in Massachusetts, ACLS and BLS, with 1‑2 years of acute Med/Surg and telemetry experience preferred.

The position supports a 32-hour week, 3p–11p shifts with rotating weekends and a comprehensive benefits package including education support and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); BSN within 4 years required.
• License/Certifications: Current RN MA license, ACLS + BLS required.
• Experience: 1-2 years of acute Med/Surg experience strongly preferred in hospital setting, telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care addressing age-specific needs from infant to elderly and individualize care for impairments.
• Assume responsibility for quality of nursing care, including health maintenance, teaching, counseling and care planning.
• Demonstrate excellent assessment, clinical and organizational skills and computer proficiency; ability to lift/move patients and communicate effectively in English.
