Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Houston is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, compassionate care and support patient recovery across a multidisciplinary team. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized plans, and coordinate care from admission to discharge, ensuring safety and evidence-based practices.

The position requires a BSN, TX RN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• BSN required at time of hire.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Active Registered Nurse license in TX at hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
• Proven competence aligned with RN I performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and provide holistic nursing care and notify physicians of changes.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Prepare patients for procedures, execute orders, and ensure safety protocols including medication administration.
• Reassess patient responses to interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Communicate clearly during handoffs and provide thorough patient updates to the team.
• Promote safety and contribute to quality initiatives and patient satisfaction.
