Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license or compact license
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• 1+ year experience in acute Med Surg setting

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during each shift, promptly reporting changes.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor response, and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and educate patients and families.
• Translate complex medical terminology to patients and caregivers to ensure understanding.
