Boston Medical Center South is seeking a Registered Nurse MNA to join the Cardiac Telemetry 3B team. The role involves delivering patient-centered care, coordinating with the health care team, and supporting discharge planning, with a 32-hour schedule (days) and an alternating weekend rotation.

Candidates should have a Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (BSN within 4 years), and MA RN license with BLS; ACLS preferred. The department emphasizes quality, safety, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required.
• License/Certifications: Current RN MA license + BLS required. ACLS preferred.
• Experience: Prior acute Med/Surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Department, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
• Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization.
• Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects.
