Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Telemetry Monitoring Technician to oversee patient ECG rhythm surveillance and interpret results for the healthcare team. The role supports efficient telemetry operations and patient safety in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The technician will monitor rhythm strips, escalate significant events to a Registered Nurse, and ensure accurate data entry in the telemetry system while contributing to high-quality patient care.

Formación

• Education requirement: Telemetry Monitoring Technician program or 1 year related experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: none.
• Knowledge of ECG rhythms and monitoring system; ability to review trends and alarms.
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Provide surveillance and analysis of cardiac rhythms on telemetry systems.
• Escalate significant changes to a Registered Nurse.
• Operate and troubleshoot telemetry monitoring system; account for monitors.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients in the telemetry system.
• Deliver high-quality service and optimize the patient experience.
• Maintain safety and adhere to policies and standards.
