Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an EKG Technician to support cardiology procedures including Holter monitoring and ECG tests. You will assist during stress testing and ensure proper operation of equipment while educating patients about procedures.

The role emphasizes accuracy, patient communication, and collaboration within the cardiology team. Minimum pay starts at $25.77 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Graduate of a cardiac technical program or equivalent.
• Satisfactory completion of cardiac arrhythmia courses within 90 days of hire.
• Basic understanding of cardiac disease and arrhythmias.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Performs application and detachment of Holter monitors.
• Provides patient education regarding the test and purpose.
• Scans, analyzes Holter tapes and prepares reports.
• Assists cardiology attending with stress testing procedures.
• Performs ECGs and other cardiology testing as needed.
• Maintains equipment and reports defects.
• Processes billing charge requisitions and reports.
• Monitors code cart and defibrillator; ensure lock integrity.
