Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in Red Bank, NJ seeks a Cardiac Technician to support trained cardiology attendings during all procedures, including stress testing, Holter monitoring, and ECG. Qualified candidates will have a GED or high school diploma, and familiarity with cardiac disease and arrhythmias. AHA Basic Life Support certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a cardiac technical program or equivalent.
• Completion of cardiac arrhythmia course within 90 days of hire.
• Completion of cardiac arrhythmia course.
• Basic understanding of cardiac disease and arrhythmias.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite).
• 1 year of prior experience in non-invasive cardiac procedures (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist trained cardiology attending during all procedures.
• Perform stress testing, Holter application and removal, Holter scanning and ECG as required.
