Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a cardiology technician to perform noninvasive and invasive cardiac diagnostics. Responsibilities include EKGs, event monitoring, pacemaker interrogation, and stress testing under physician guidance. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Life Sciences or Cardiovascular Technology certification preferred.
• Experience in diagnostic cardiology and stress testing is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs, event monitoring, and pacemaker interrogation under physician supervision.
• Conduct stress testing procedures and monitor patient responses.
• Take vital signs and review patient history and medications.
• Room patients and facilitate efficient department operations.
• Occasional duties as medical secretary: chart management, receptionist and clerical tasks.
