Hartford HealthCare is seeking a cardiology technician to perform noninvasive and invasive cardiac diagnostics. Responsibilities include EKGs, event monitoring, pacemaker interrogation, and stress testing under physician guidance. The role also involves patient intake, vital sign monitoring, and chart review to support high-quality care.

The position may require occasional medical secretary duties such as chart management and receptionist tasks to ensure smooth department operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Life Sciences or Cardiovascular Technology certification preferred.
• Experience in diagnostic cardiology and stress testing is desired.

Responsabilités

• Perform EKGs, event monitoring, and pacemaker interrogation under physician supervision.
• Conduct stress testing procedures and monitor patient responses.
• Take vital signs and review patient history and medications.
• Room patients and facilitate efficient department operations.
• Occasional duties as medical secretary: chart management, receptionist and clerical tasks.
