Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Minimum two years in cardiology, medical assisting, or EMT.
• Preferred EKG certificate program.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs EKGs with correct lead placement and high-quality tracings.
• Assists physicians with cardiac stress testing.
• Identifies patients and labels data accurately.
• Maintains and checks EKG and stress equipment daily.
• Manages inventory and supplies for EKG services.
• Assists with training of new staff and students.
• Delivers courteous patient service and adheres to safety standards.
• Performs billing for Holter and stress testing.
