AtriCure, Inc. in Providence, RI seeks a Cardiac Sales Manager to lead strategic selling of ablation, AtriClip, and related therapies in hospital settings. You will develop territory plans, close new business, and mentor field clinicians to ensure best patient outcomes.

Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in medical device sales with cardiac surgery exposure; willingness to travel 25–30%. Competitive compensation with strong bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 5+ years medical device sales experience with specific knowledge and selling experience related to cardiac surgery or related space.
• Cardiac surgical ablation systems highly preferred.
• A documented track record of successful sales quota achievement.
• Strong clinical and technical aptitude.
• Ability to travel 25-30% depending on territory size, location and maturity.
• Ability to pass account and hospital credentialing processes.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting, qualifying, business and program development, and closing direct sales of AtriCure's ablation, left atrial appendage (AtriClip) and cryo nerve block technologies in Cardiothoracic operating room and related departments within hospitals.
• Develop, implement and execute a strategic sales plan for designated territory to achieve assigned targets
• Continually identify new customers, contacts and opportunities via networking and collaboration in and outside of the organization and territory
• Increase penetration and adoption within existing accounts to build upon and grow the base business
• Work closely with the Hybrid Therapies and Cryo Nerve Block teams, along with sales leadership to cross functionally coordinate activities to achieve corporate sales goals and targeting between all functions and franchises.
• Work with Marketing and Professional Education to share industry news and trends and receive feedback of the same
• Mentor and partner with your field clinical specialists for best patient and customer outcomes.
• Attend industry trade shows and events as needed
• Manage your territory and track customer activity
