Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. is seeking a Cardiac Ablation Specialist to drive field sales through clinical expertise and education in Cardiac Surgery and EP environments, including ORs and EP labs in Massachusetts.

You will provide intraoperative support, train OR staff and physicians, and collaborate with Sales and Professional Education teams to expand market presence and adoption of company technologies. Travel up to 75-80% is required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent in experience.
• Experience in a surgical or lab environment preferred (industry or clinical setting); prefer cardiac surgery, IC or EP setting
• Ability to travel 75-80%

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and procedural support across cardiac ORs, EP labs, and cath labs.
• Partner with sales leaders to execute strategic account plans and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead and support educational efforts for physicians, surgeons, and OR staff through presentations, labs, and real-time guidance.
• Train surgical and OR personnel on safe and effective use of company technologies, including setup and intraoperative support.
• Provide expert intraoperative assistance during live cases to ensure optimal device utilization.
• Engage surgeons, physicians, and allied health professionals to advance clinical adoption.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Professional Education to drive market growth and innovation.
• Support market development initiatives related to cardiac surgery ablation and LAA management procedures.
• Provide patient follow-up and clinical support as requested by healthcare professionals.
• Document case activity, product feedback, and clinical insights to inform improvements and strategy.
