Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California is required.
• A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) certification is required.
• A BSN degree is required unless waived by Nurse Executive Council review.
• At least one year nursing experience in cardiac surgery or similar surgical practice in an outpatient clinic associated with an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage care within the Cardiac Surgery Clinic at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center.
• Comply with established nursing standards and scope of practice.
