MemorialCare is seeking a CTS Nurse Practitioner in Long Beach to join the Cardiology Pro Fees department. The NP II collaborates with physicians to examine, diagnose and treat patients using standardized procedures, in inpatient or outpatient settings.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, patient education, and quality outcomes within a respected health system in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN license and current CA NP certification.
• DEA license to prescribe scheduled meds; Schedule II license if applicable.
• ABSNC certification required for NP; NIH and other requirements per department.

Responsabilités

• Independently examines, diagnoses and treats patients per SOPs.
• Coordinate and organize patient care with supervising physician(s).
• Educate patients and families; document in teaching plan.
• Ensure accurate problem lists and medication reconciliation at admission and discharge.
• May work across care settings (inpatient, outpatient) and may serve as NP navigator.
