Job summary

MemorialCare Health System in Laguna Hills, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiac Recovery for a per diem, day shift. The role focuses on acute cardiovascular patient care from admission to discharge and coordinating with unlicensed staff while executing physician orders.

The ideal candidate has Cath Lab/ICU experience, EPIC EMR familiarity, and active California RN license with BLS/ACLS. BSN preferred; specialty certification welcomed.

Qualifications

• 1 Year of Cath Lab, Vascular Lab and / or EP Lab experience preferred.
• 2 Years of Critical Care / ICU experience preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record System such as EPIC

Responsibilities

• Provide acute cardiovascular specialized patient care from admission to discharge or inpatient transfer.
• Direct unlicensed staff, conduct patient assessments, and develop a plan of care.
• Communicate post-procedure observations, non-invasive procedure interventions, and patient/family teaching.
• Implement and document physician orders and provide nursing care.
