The role supports pre- and postoperative care under the supervision of the staff surgeon and reports to the Clinical Manager APP Cardiac Surgery Clinical Inpatient and the Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license required.
• 3–5 years related work experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Preoperative evaluation and history/physical examinations.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests.
• Invasive procedures under supervision (e.g., lines, chest tubes, pacing wires).
• Discharges patients and documents discharge summaries.
• Coordinates care across CCU, MICU, PCU, and Cardiac Surgery units.
