You will collaborate with faculty, fellows, residents, and nursing staff to develop coordinated care plans and educate patients and families.

This role may require some off-hours, weekend shifts and on-call. A Master's in Nursing, MA APRN license, BLS, and prescriptive authority are required, with familiarity using EMR and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Nursing.
• Nursing license and APRN authorization.
• BLS certification is required.
• 0–1 years related work experience preferred.
• MA Board authorization to practice as an APRN NRSG.
• Prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and DEA.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Performs history and physical examinations, formulates care plans, orders and interprets tests and educates patients/families.
• Acts as an educator and clinical resource through consultation and seminars.
• Coordinates care to provide safe, efficient, patient-centered care across services.
• Documents clinical encounters clearly and timely.
• Collaborates with health professionals to determine patient needs and manage care; includes opioid patients.
