Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Licenses and Credentials: ACLS (AHA)
• Licenses and Credentials: AHA preferred
• Licenses and Credentials: BLS Certification preferred
• Licenses and Credentials: CCT - Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred
• Experience: 1-2 years in stress testing and cardiovascular health
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Attention to detail; Ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for stress tests by explaining the procedure and answering questions
• Apply electrodes and monitoring devices to measure vital signs during the test
• Administer stress tests (exercise or pharmacological) to evaluate cardiovascular health
• Monitor patients during the stress test and respond to issues or complications
• Document test results and communicate them to the supervising physician
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning
• Assist in scheduling stress tests and other cardiology procedures
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement programs
