Qualifications

• ACLS (AHA) preferred.

• Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for stress tests by explaining the procedure and answering questions.
• Apply electrodes and monitoring devices to measure heart rate, blood pressure and vital signs during the test.
• Administer stress tests (exercise or pharmacological) to evaluate cardiovascular health.
• Monitor patients during the test and respond to issues or complications.
• Document results and communicate them to the supervising physician.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Assist in scheduling stress tests and other cardiology procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement programs.
