Job summary

Brigham and Women’s Physicians Organization is seeking a Per Diem Stress Test Technician to administer exercise, pharmacological, and imaging stress tests for cardiovascular assessment under physician supervision. You will prepare patients, attach monitoring equipment, perform tests, monitor during the procedure, document results, and communicate findings to physicians.

Onsite role at 541 Main Street with day shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• ACLS (AHA) preferred.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• CCT - Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred.
• 1-2 years of stress testing or cardiovascular health experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for stress tests by explaining the procedure and answering questions.
• Attach electrodes and monitoring devices to measure heart rate, blood pressure, and other vital signs during the test.
• Administer stress tests (exercise or pharmacological) to evaluate cardiovascular health.
• Monitor patients during tests and respond to issues or complications that arise.
• Document results of the stress test and communicate them to the supervising physician.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
• Assist in the scheduling of stress tests and other cardiology procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement programs.
