Job summary

Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization, Inc. seeks a stress test technician to administer cardiovascular stress tests under physician supervision at our onsite facility in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, applying monitoring equipment, conducting exercise or pharmacological tests, documenting results, and coordinating with the cardiology team. Requires a high school diploma; ACLS/BLS preferred; 1–2 years of stress testing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in or training in stress testing and cardiovascular health (1–2 years).
• ACLS and BLS preferred; CCT certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; attention to detail; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for stress tests and explain procedures.
• Apply electrodes and monitoring devices to measure vital signs during tests.
• Administer stress tests (exercise or pharmacological) to evaluate cardiovascular health.
• Monitor patients during tests and respond to any issues.
• Document test results and communicate with supervising physician.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Assist in scheduling stress tests and other cardiology procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement programs.
