Job summary

Phelps Health is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Technician (EKG Technician) to perform diagnostic procedures including EKGs, stress tests, Holter, and Event monitoring. The role may cover other areas within Cardiology as needed.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and an EKG certification program; BLS is required and CET is preferred. EKG experience is preferred. A team-oriented environment and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Responsibilities

• Performs EKGs, stress tests, Holter and Event Monitor scanning as requested.
• Verifies physician orders and educates patients about procedures.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and prepares supplies for procedures.
• Bills and processes procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Works effectively as part of a team and supports quality initiatives.
