Job summary

South Shore Health is seeking an experienced EKG technician to perform electrocardiograms and Holter monitor placements across various settings at our Weymouth facility. The role supports physicians during Cardiac Stress Testing and ensures accurate data entry, labeling, and reporting in Muse and Meditech systems.

The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma, 2+ years in cardiology/medical assisting, and solid computer skills to manage patient information and billing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education - Preferred High school education
• Minimum Work Experience - Prefer a minimum two (2) years cardiology, medical assisting or EMT services
• Basic computer skills required and used daily

Responsibilities

• Performs Electrocardiograms and Holter monitor placements in multiple settings.
• Assists physicians with Cardiac Stress Testing and related procedures.
• Maintains EKG data in Muse and ensures accurate labeling of patient data.
• Responsible for clerical duties including data entry, report distribution, and billing reconciliation.
