Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join the 4Main CV Stepdown unit. You will coordinate comprehensive patient care, deliver evidence-based nursing practices, and ensure safety and quality across the patient continuum in a 24-bed unit focused on cardiothoracic/vascular surgical patients.

The role requires an accredited nursing program completion, an Illinois RN license, and BLS; ACLS is expected within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
ACLS certification required/expected within 6 months of hire.
Cardiac/critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
