Job summary

DayToDay Health is seeking a Travel Stepdown RN to support ICU-to-med-surg transitions across our hospital network. You will provide specialized cardiac-focused care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, valid RN license with BLS and ACLS, and strong clinical skills in telemetry, assessment, and patient education; travel availability may apply.

Qualifications

One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
Valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient care.
Proficiency in English and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized care for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry for abnormalities.
Administer medications and assist with cardiac procedures.
Assess and document patient needs and respond to emergencies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients on cardiac health.
Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.
