Job summary

CDL Nuclear Technologies is seeking a Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Technologist (SPECT) for part‑time (1–2 days/week) in Mechanicsville, VA. You will perform high‑quality SPECT studies, deliver compassionate patient care, and support safe imaging operations alongside physicians and technical staff.

Qualifications

• Current NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to independently produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and patient care standards.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality SPECT nuclear imaging studies in accordance with physician protocols.
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.
• Order and manage radiopharmaceutical doses for scheduled patient studies.
• Maintain hot lab operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to clinical workflows.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Support a safe environment by adhering to all state, federal, OSHA, and radiation safety regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and CDL leadership to provide exceptional service to patients and customers.
