Job summary

Virginia Heart is seeking a dependable Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support Cardiac SPECT MPI and Cardiac PET/CT imaging in Falls Church and Leesburg. The role offers part-time, non-exempt status with training opportunities to expand Cardiac PET/CT skills.

You will perform high-quality imaging, prepare patients, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure safety and documentation while collaborating closely with the nuclear cardiology team.

Qualifications

• Certified NM technologist with nuclear medicine imaging experience.
• Solid knowledge of radiation safety and patient care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn cross-training for Cardiac PET/CT.

Responsibilities

• Perform Cardiac SPECT MPI per protocols.
• Prepare patients, administer radiopharmaceuticals, educate and position.
• Operate gamma cameras and perform daily QC.
• Review images for quality and document procedures.
• Support Cardiac PET/CT imaging and cross-training.
