Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an echocardiography professional to perform 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler tests on adult and geriatric patients. You will maintain performance improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound in accordance with IAC.

The role will be split between Ellijay and Canton, GA, with a schedule that may begin at two days per week at each location and could move to three days per week at Ellijay depending on volumes.

Qualifications

• RDCS, RCS, RCCS, CRCS or ACS credentials from ARDMS/CCI/US/Canada.
• Basic Life Support certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2-D, M-mode and color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography tests on adults and geriatrics.
• Maintain performance improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound per IAC.
• Position splits between Ellijay and Canton with potential schedule changes based on volumes.

Performs 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography tests on the adult and geriatric patient population. Responsible for maintaining performance improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound in accordance with IAC.

REQUIRED

1. An appropriate credential in echocardiography:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada
• Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

This position will be split between Ellijay and Canton. The schedule is subject to change, but may start with 2 days a week at each location and then go to 3 days/week at Ellijay if depending on the volumes.
