Job summary

Loyola Medicine Transport, a unit of Loyola University Medical Center, is seeking a part-time echocardiography technologist to perform non-invasive cardiac ultrasound exams for patients across age groups. The role supports the diagnosis and management of heart disease in a tertiary care setting.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma with echocardiography training; a Associates Degree and ARDMS/CCI credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Graduate of accredited Echocardiography program preferred.
• Must receive one of the above credentials within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs non-invasive cardiac ultrasound procedures on patients in a variety of age-specific populations, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.
