Job summary

Memorial Hospital Belleville is hiring a Full-Time Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) to support the Cardiovascular Unit. The role performs echocardiography and related cardiac testing in both in- and out-patient settings, under physician orders.

New grads and experienced sonographers are welcome. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm with an every-7th weekend call rotation paid even if not called in; RDCS certification required; Associate's degree or trade equivalency.

Qualifications

• RDCS Registry (required)
• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

Responsibilities

• Performs tests and procedures at various locations.
• Maintains accurate patient logs.
• Updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer.
• Maintains cardiac lab patient files.
