Qualifications

• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire.
• CPI certification must be completed and maintained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiology diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and complete records and other pertinent patient information.
• Provide preliminary reports to attending physicians for severely abnormal findings.
• Check equipment and perform minor troubleshooting as needed.
• Complete cardiopulmonary billing accurately and in a timely manner.

Skills

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

Knowledge in computer networking and digital hospital systems

Strong computer proficiency including DICOM

Education

Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Technology program (AS degree)
