Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer II at Stephens Hospital to perform moderate complexity cardiac ultrasound exams with independent judgement and the ability to recognize abnormal findings. The role requires ARDMS/CCI certification and BLS, plus at least one year of experience.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
• License/Certifications: ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required. BLS certification required, or must be obtained within 30 days of start date..
• Experience: Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience required.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Performs TEE and/or stress Echocardiograms.
