Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Sonographer for the 36905 AMC Summit – Cardiovascular Diagnostics in Aurora, CO. The role involves performing general, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound studies with attention to accuracy and patient safety.

The successful candidate will work a 40-hour week, M-F schedule with on-call duties including evenings, weekends, and holidays as rotated; prior ARDMS credentials preferred. On-site facility with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in general and vascular sonography.
• Ability to differentiate normal vs. pathologic findings.
• Must meet licensure/certification requirements as listed.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment for general, vascular and/or cardiac studies.
• Review patient records and orders to ensure exam accuracy.
• Position patient and adjust transducers for optimal images.
• Label and document images and enter data into RIS.
