Job summary

Aurora Medical Center Summit is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join the cardiovascular diagnostics team. You will perform advanced echocardiography studies and support cardiology services in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge and ability to learn and apply complex sonographic principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and patient service skills.
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures (M-mode, 2-D, Doppler, Color Flow) and measures to obtain high-quality results.
• Assist physicians in Cath/EP labs with echocardiographs for complex procedures.
• Prepare patients, obtain history, and adapt imaging techniques for diagnostic echocardiograms.
• Record statistics and maintain the Echocardiography Lab and equipment; ensure quality processes and ICAEL standards.
